We have Ganduje’s sacked aide, Yakasai in our custody – DSS

Department of State Services says Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, sacked aide to Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, is in its custody.

DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, confirmed this in a statement on Saturday evening.

The whereabouts of Yakasai, who disappeared on Friday evening in Kano hours after he tweeted that President Muhammadu Buhari should secure Nigerians or resign, have raised fears.

But the DSS in its statement on Saturday evening stated, “This is to confirm that Salihu Tanko-Yakasai is with the Department of State Services. He is being investigated over issues beyond the expression of opinions in the social media as wrongly alleged by sections of the public.”
