Insecurity: Hunters in Adamawa received 30 vehicles, 10 motorcycles, govt to send 600 more for training

To help combat crimes in many parts of the state, Hunters in Adamawa from the twenty one Local Government areas were presented thirty Hilux by the Governor of the state, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri through their various Chairmen for onward delivery.

Governor Fintiri has also presented Ten motorcycles to Operation Farauta at the event held in Government House, Tuesday.

Ahmadi while presenting the vehicles and the motorcycles, he charged them to utilize them well to tackle issues of all forms of crimes.

Governor Fintiri called on them to fight the issues of kidnappings, cattle rustlings, and the deadly Shilla boys notorious gangs among other security challenges.

The Governor revealed that the state government will soon send another set of six hundred hunters to Police College Maiduguri for training as three hundreds were recently passed out haven been trained for that purpose.

During the ceremony, Ahmadu handed the keys to the State Local Government AlGON chairman, Alhaji Jingi Rufai as all service Chiefs in the state were in attendance.
