We will sue you to court if you refuse to contest election in 2023- Adamawa people tell Bindow, former Gov

The solidarity visit to the former Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow since his return to the state after the 2019 elections to condole many who lost their relations continues to thrives

People of Yola North, Mubi North, Mubi South, and Maiha while on a solitary visit in his residence in Yola and Mubi respective they vowed to sue the former Governor if he does not contest in the coming 2023 elections.

In Yola, a group under the umbrella of supporter of late Raphael George,
Yola North former acting Chairman, the group under delegation of Abubakar Ahmed Marafa gave Bindow an unconditional statement that he should contest the governorship seat of 2023 election and if he dare not they will take him to court.

Their spokesman Abubakar Musa Adda said he should nurse an ambition of contesting because his administration is being missed and they dearly paying well the absence of his government.

“Your excellency we have given you an unconditional statement, you have no choice even if you don’t have the Internation we will contribute money for you to contest and if you say no we will sue you to court,” Musa said

While in Mubi, one of the All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders, Alhaji Jalo Mohammed from Maiha led party senior stakeholders and reiterated that if Bindow failed to contest again is tantamount to a serious offence he will commit against them.

Though h admitted that the people of Mubi North, Mubi South, and Maiha have made a grievous mistake in the last 2019 elections pleaded for their guilts to be forgiven as their conscience is pricking them bad

“Now we have vowed not to ever repeat the same mistakes because we learned the lessons in the hard and bitter way,” Jalo stressed

In his response, the former Governor maintains that it is not yet time for politics and his visit is never in connection to political purposes but to pay condolences to many relationships and political associates that died while is away.

He appreciated thousands of people who came out in mass to welcome him since yesterday from Maraba Mubi Junction and move down to Mubi.

He called on them to make sure the register on the forthcoming APC registration and revalidation as to be substantial members of the party.

He further called on them to register only ones as double registration will render them invalid members.

You would recall that Former Governor Bindow since yesterday in Mubi (Friday) was warmly received with an anomalous crowd cutting across all ages, tribes, and businessmen.
