In a town hall meeting organized by the Adamawa Senator representing the Southern Zone of the state, Rev Binos Dauda Yaroe assured the people of Mayo Belwa that he is committed to fulfilling all his campaign promises.
The town Hall meeting Binos used and interacted with hundreds of his constituents gave them the courage his main responsibilities as their elected representative is to make laws that will impact positively on their lives and to also carry out oversight functions
He said his motions, bills, and contributions on the floor of Assembly he sponsored and co-sponsored will help in changing the country’s narratives.
“Due to the peculiarity challenges and widespread poverty in Nigeria, the government and the Senate deemed it fit to introduce constituency projects aimed at improving the quality and standard of living of the people.” He said
Dauda intimated to his constituents how he was involved in quite several road projects in facilitating their rehabilitation or reconstruction in the constituency, sinking of boreholes, health care delivery, and youth empowerment programs among other things.
Senator Yaroe while given rapt attention as one after the other share and discuss their views, problems, and challenges in the constitution he promised to collaborate with the Federal and state governments as well as other elected persons in the constituency to deliver more Democratic dividends for them.
During the town hall meeting in Mayo Belwa, the chairman and vice-chairman of PDP in the local government expressed their concerns in the areas of unemployment, bad roads, and difficult terrains especially during the rainy season which according to them has affected agricultural production and transportation.
In his remarks during the meeting, the member representing Nasarawo Binyeri in the state Assembly, Nashon Gubi said the town hall meeting was necessary to intimate the people on how far the senator has gone to assist his constituency and to also draw their attention to the constitutional mandate of a senator to apportion blames and successes to the right persons.
While thanking them, the chairman of Mayo Belwa local government area, Gershon kasuwa applauded the achievements of senator Binos within the last one and half years and hopped that the senator will sustain the tempo in years to come.
Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe had already done similar town hall meetings in Numan, Jada, and now Mayo Belwa with a promise to go round the entire nine local government areas that make up his constituency
