The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Adamawa State has commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for hosting the entire North East Governors, attributing the ground breaking record to stability in security and peaceful coexistence of people of Adamawa State.

Hon.Jingi Rufai, the ALGON Chairman of Adamawa State,in a statement welcoming the Northeast Governors onbehalf of all the 21 local government Chairmen said, Adamawa has become an investment hub in the country and even the Governors can testify by themselves, considering the urban renewal projects of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Jingi Rufai,who urged the Northeast Governors to enjoy the fresh- air blowing in Adamawa State, called for a rowsy welcome by citizens of Adamawa so as to motivate the individual Governors for investment in the state.

He said the meeting of the Governors in Adamawa State will not only open doors for robust policies in governance for the region, but uniting the heterogeneous cultures across the state.
The ALGON, added that the Governors can even borrow a leaf from the gigantic projects of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, having seen by their eyes the modern fly- over under construction.

He further urged youths and other citizens of Adamawa State to be law abiding as being demonstrated before as a Honour to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and his counterparts in the Northeast.

The Governors of Borno,Yobe, Bauchi, Gombe, Taraba are presently in Adamawa State for a routine strategic meeting to appraise Governance and security in the region.
