Sen Binani of Adamawa Central congratulates Bala, Newly elected NAWOJ President

Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) Gimbiyar Adamawa has congratulated the newly elected President of the National Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ), Ladi Bala, on her triumph at the polls.

The Senator who represents Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone and the only female Senator in 19 Northern states of the Federation in a signed press statement released to newsmen, described Ladi’s victory at the polls as a victory not only to female journalists in the state but to the entire state.

“I am confident that under your renewed leadership, NAWOJ’s leading role in advancing the values and principles of the 4th Estate of the realm will continue to be strengthened,” she said.

She added that “Please accept my very best wishes for a successful tenure of office and my regards.”

“I urge you to work based on your manifesto and your campaign promises so that you can move the National Association of Women Journalist to greater heights” she maintained.

The Federal Lawmaker finally assured the Adamawa born newly elected National President of her continued support to the association.
