#Endsars: CPFN/PFN Christian Youths call for prayers against a divided Nigeria

A summit of Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria/Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN/PFN) Northern Youth wing has stressed the need for intensified prayers against a divided Nigeria.

The National President of CPFN/PFN Youth Wing, Pastor Immaobong Odohofreh who was the guest speaker during the summit held at Living Faith Church in Yola said:

“In the face of the multi diversified problems and challenge that are militating against our nation, the uprising of youths across the nation, the cry for justice and the unfortunate massacre of peaceful protest, it became imperative for us to gather like this, to pray for the peace and unity of our nation, and to charge youths across the nation to be ambassadors of peace and vanguards of nation-building.”

The summit with a theme “Overcoming Security Challenges in Northern Nigeria Immaobong said every Christian including old and Young to fervently make conscious prayers efforts that will unite the nation and to consolidate peace.

In his speech, the president said the aim of the summit is to synergies and strengthen all youths in the nineteen states in the north including the FCT in the need to unite for peace and amidst security challenges. And to also honour our church leaders for their support to our youths and their services to the Kingdom of God.

While appreciating the Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and Crowther Seth, his Deputy for creating the good environment for them to have the summit. He thanked the CAN chairman in the state, Bishop Dami Steven Mamza for constructing a Multi-Million Naira secretariat he constructed within his shortest time in office and displayed a high level of transparency and incorruptible lifestyle.

Odohofreh took time to extolled Governor Fintiri and asserted that he is a Man of the people and his acceptability cut across all tribes and Faith and massive construction of ongoing flyovers and projects running the streets of the state while thanking Rt Rev Japheth Tonmwaso, PFN and CPFN Chairman of Adamawa state for becoming a bridge builder and has a passion for the Youths.

He said the former CAN and PFN chairman, His Lordship, Bishop Mike Moses is a Man with a Large heart who easily forgive and forget, he is an encouragement to the body of Christ.

He also thanked Rev Chris Busari for his constant encouragement to the youth in the state to become what God created them to be.
