President Muhammadu Buhari says some Nigerians misconstrued his administration’s swift response in disbanding the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force as weakness.
Buhari stated this in a live broadcast on Thursday evening.
Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had scrapped the special police unit in the wake of the #EndSARS protests.
