Re:Barka,Adamawa former Ag Gov is a fair-weather “AGIP” politician who lost relevance says PP Elisha

….we are Happy Fintiri is having people of no political relevance

A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Mr Phineas Pwanohoma Elisha in an effort to reply Adamawa state former acting Governor, Ambassador Barka James Shuaibu as a fair-weather politician who does not have a political good ideology.

He described the former Ambassador of Nigeria to Tunisia as a Man belongs to class of “Any Government in Power” (AGIP) and very weak to stay in the opposition.

Elisha responded to Mr Barka who defected to PDP from APC some months ago granted an exclusive interview to punch newspaper and stated his regrets for leaving PDP to sojourn in APC because it is a party he discovered with”combination of strange bedfellows with a different ideology.”

“My main reason for leaving the APC for the PDP. I left the PDP with nobody. I didn’t carry my supporters to the APC because I was going on a sojourn. I have never been a member of any other political party apart from the PDP, which has always been my party, and my spirit has always been in the PDP, even when I moved to the APC. All I’m saying is that to me, the APC is not a political party to be cherished.” Barka said

James in the interview also berate the APC opposition party in Adamawa State to be a party forced into a marriage of convenience, a mixture of people with different directions and goals, that’s why the party is not working well.

Elisha in his response as one of the members of Adamawa State APC media team said if Barka who was a former speaker, a former member, a former majority leader and a former acting Governor and finally an Ambassador not to know where he was going when he dumped PDP to APC in 2015 does not know what is doing in his political life.

“No political relevance in APC, he has been relegated to the backdrop. He decamped to APC with no nobody because he hadn’t any, he left to PDP a single Man because he does not have the political might to pull any. No one he left in PDP when he joined APC and he has gone to meet no one.

” It’s just unfortunate a Man of his caliber is moving from pillar to post of political party with no worth. I’m happy to say that the Executive Governor is having people of no political relevance, especially people like Barka who are political fair-weather friends and cannot add any value to him.” Elisha said

He disagrees with James’ position that the past administration under Sen Muhammadu Jibrilla Umaru Bindow only focused on road infrastructure.

He said: “Bindow focussed on all sectors, in Agriculture he purchased over one hundred tractors and fertilizer, he renovated secondary schools to boost Education sector and payment of counterpart fund that gave the present Administration of Rt Hon Ahmadu Fintri eight billion Naira at ADSUBEB.”

He continued to say that Bindow initiated the school feeding program and in Health sector he completed Jada, Mayobelwa, Numan Hospitals and made possible for the State to accessed six million dollars grand for the State’s Primary Health care and he constructed many urban, rural and feeder roads all over the State.

“Bindow was up to date on salaries. Ask any Adamawa indigene, Flyovers are not their priority. I am convinced with due respect that my former Acting Governor is bankrupt in political ideology.” He added
