Adamawa APC meeting: Stakeholders agree to chart a Way toward success in 2023,says Party unity is supreme


Stakeholders of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State are today’s (Saturday) meeting in Abuja to discuss the future of the Party in the State formerly known as one of the strongest strongholds of the Party across the country.

The North East National Vice Chairman of the party, Professor Mamman Tahir converged a meeting of senior party men and women geared to reconciling and bring peace and unity among party members.

The Saturday’s meeting in Abuja brought together critical members and stakeholders among like SGF Boss Mustapha, FCT Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Bello, Professor Mamman Tahir, Murtala Nyako, Sen Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru Binani and former minister of defense, Abdulrahaman Adamu as members on the high table.

Others are Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow (Represented), Sen Muhammadu Mana, Engr Babachir David Lawal (Represented), First Lady Aishatu Buhari (Represented), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu,Aliyu Kama, all APC National Assembly Lawmakers (Senator and Reps Members), Engr Martins Babale.
Aliyu Walga, Alhaji Sadiq Kalu, Former Governor Bala James Nggilari, Sen Ahmed Barbara, Titsi Panama, Barr Ali Gulak, Hon Ibrahim Dasin.

The 57 member steering committee saddled with the responsibilities of reconciling all aggrieved party members and finding reasons leading to solutions to why the party in 2019 loss the elections in Adamawa, especially the governorship.

The meeting is believed to be in a stronger tie of agreement, strategising, aiming at harnessing the entire resources that abound in the Party in Adamawa State to challenge the incumbent PDP Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, whose popularity among Adamawa State stakeholders across Party lines has continued to nosedive in recent times.

The which was More of a get-together, with all members to have exchanged good pleasantries and extend hands of love and fellowship in the atmosphere of Peace was a practical love demonstrated

Speaker after speaker stated out deeper revelations as to why the party fumbled in 2019 and revealed good omen as to why the party will bounce back in 2023.

In his speech, former Governor Murtala Nyako said one of the reasons that led to the downfall of APC in Adamawa state in the general election it was lack of internal democracy, fairness and Justice to all party members.

Also the acting Governor, Rt Hon Bala James Nggilari was empathic to say that there is no party in Adamawa other than APC.

James who recently decamped to APC from PDP at the meeting was assertive to say that his newfound party in a winning one if personal interested will be set aside for the overall interest of the party and all members.
