NIS promotes 211 officers in Adamawa

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has promoted 211 personnel in its Command in Adamawa.

Alhaji Muhammad Alhassan, Comptroller of the service in Adamawa announced this in Yola during the decoration of the newly promoted personnel which comprise senior and junior officers.
“So far 8, 099 senior and junior officers are promoted nationwide by the Nigeria Immigration Service, 211 are from Adamawa Command.

“One hundred and thirty out of the promoted personnel in the command are senior officers and 81 junior.

“They are promoted in 2020 but with effect from January 2019,’’ Alhassan said.

He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari and Comptroller-General of Immigration, Muhammadu Babandede for promoting such high number of officers at the command.

Alhassan urged them to be good leaders and always focused on their responsibilities.
