
…thank President Muhammadu Buhari for awarding the contract
The Senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, Mr Ishaku Abbo has influenced the construction of thirty years abandoned Kwa-Betso road.
About who is a member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development said President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the construction of the road at the cost of two hundred and ninety million nairas to Nasnab General Contractor Limited.
“The President also through the Ministry of Agriculture and rural development has awarded the contract for the construction of KWA – BETSO rural road in Mubi North, Adamawa Northern Senatorial District. This road has been abandoned for over 30 years.” Abbo said
According to him, the two kilometres road was given by the procurement department of the federal ministry of Agriculture and rural development.
Abbo on his Facebook official wall appreciate President Buhari for initial approval to construct the Tsamiya – Bazza Road, linking Mubi and Michika which has been fully paid for by North East Development Commission (NEDC).
He revealed also the Hospital Road in Michika which he influenced was funded by NEDC.
While thanking Hon Jafar Magaji Member House of Representatives for Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha, his colleague at the lower chamber for his support and understanding. Ishaku said he believes that in the next few years every part of Adamawa will see the development from the Federal Government.
Usman Bukar, a politician and community leader commended the efforts of Senator Abbo for his good initiative to bring development to his people.
Bukar said Abbo’s successful representation wouldn’t have been possible without the support of his people who gave him the mandate.
