Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), on Friday evening, confirmed that all the Super Eagles players and officials in camp tested negative for coronavirus, ahead of the game against the Desert Foxes.
The Covid-19 tests were conducted on Thursday under the supervision of UEFA officials.
In his press conference prior to Friday’s game, coach Rohr mentioned that four unnamed Super Eagles players previously tested positive for coronavirus but fully recovered before reporting for international duty.
Also, Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, took to his social media handle to confirm that no player tested positive.
Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr, was able to call upon the services of all the players invited for the friendly against Algeria, with the exception of young LASK goalkeeper, Tobias Lawal.
TGNEWS gathered that Lawal has not been issued a Nigerian passport and won’t be involved in any capacity, leaving 25 players available for selection.
