The bad state of Yola to Gombe from Numan to Lafiyan Lamurde axis, the boundary between Adamawa and Gombe state is attracting concern by the indigenes of those State.
An All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Chief Sunny Moniedafe said the few kilometres deplorable road from lafiya to Savannah has suffered neglects and it’s a high time the Government in place to fix it.
Sunny appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of Works Babatunde Raji Fashola as a matter of urgency consider the dilapidated nature of the road that killed lives and the economy of the two neighbouring states.
He worried that from Lafiyan Lamurde to Savannah is about five minutes drive but at the present dolorous state of the economy viable road one has to spend a minimum of three hours from Lafiya Lamurde to Savannah, an experience he personally got in 2018.
The APC loyal member said he reached to Fashola and the State Minister of Works, Engr Ali which they assured him a done deal to do it.
“This is 2020 nothing has been done and the road is getting worse than the previous years.
” I have also spoken to the SGF, Barr Boss Mustapha and I know he has channel my complaints to appropriate quarters and nothing has been done,” Sunny said
