Nationwide strike:Adamawa NUJ enjoins members to actively participate

As Federal Government and Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) adamant by not agreeing to each other’s terms and demands,Nigeria union of journalists in ,Adamawa state in compliance with the directives by its National Secretariat have enjoined all chapels leadership to mobilize and take action to the scheduled strike.

The Adamawa NUJ in a letter refered back to its members by the National secretariat dated 25th September 2020 on the nationwide strike action commencing from Monday 28th September 2020 said all Journalists must adhere to the directives.

The state Secretary of NUJ,Fidelis Jockthan signed a press release asking all Chapels leadership to take note and act accordingly.

“Any journalist covering the impending strike should please notify the state council for onward communication to the leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC)in the state.

“Any further decision from our National Secretariat will equally be communicated please.” He said
