As President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will be sworn-in in few hours to come for the second term, the President has been urged to use his last regime in bringing to an end insecurity and reduce unemployment among the nation’s youth.
A cross section of Nigerians in Taraba state who made the plea while speaking to our Correspondent in Jalingo, the state capital on their expectations on the next level administration also want the new administration to address the issue of kidnappings bedeviling some part of the northern region.
Other areas they also appealed to the President to put emphasis on are education, agriculture, poverty alleviation as well as infrastructure, especially the construction of Jalingo-Numan Federal road among others across the country.
Mrs. Grace Ishaya, Malam Yahya Salihu and Barrister Idis Muhammad congratulated President Buhari and his Vice Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and wish them a successful tenure as they embarked on another journey for four years, while they advised the new administration to ensure stimulation of the Nation’s economy.
Also in an interview, former Commissioner of works in Taraba state Engineer Yahya Mafindi commended President Muhammadu Buhari for fighting corruption and urged the ninth National Assembly to give the executive the maximum cooperation needed in order to address the challenges of the nation.
