NUJ: Adamawa correspondent chapel gets new EXCOS


The Correspondent Chapel in Adamawa state got its new officials through an election that was supervised by the State Chapter of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

The newly Elected executives of the Chapel are Abdullahi Tukur of the FRCN who was elected as the Vice chairman,Anselm Nuhu Kyauta of Silver Bird Television clinched the secretary seat of the Chapel and Ibrahim Abdul’Aziz of the Voice of America (VOA) as assistant secretary.

Others are Muhammad Shafiu,Leadership Hausa got the position of a Financial Secretary and Hebron Giwa of Galaxy television won the Treasury seat of the chapel and Clement Ekong of New Telegraph became the Auditor.

However the vice Chairman will shoulder the responsibility of the Chairman on acting capacity because the two contestants of the office, Mr Matthew Onah (Assets Daily) and Yakubu Musa Uba (News Agency of Nigeria, NAN) step down for some obvious reasons and a new date will be fixed to fill in the vacant office.
