Fake news: Bindo not suspended,still a genuine card carrying member of APC-PRO


A prevalent fake news being peddled around the platforms of social media, asserting that the National working committee (NWC) of APC,the ruling party have suspended Governor Muhammadu Umar Jibrilla Bindo of Adamawa state from being a member.

The baseless report said its because of his involvement in anti party activities during the last presidential elections which resulted to loosing the state to PDP.

The state Public relations officer of the Party, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar blatantly refuted and describe the rumour as fake news propagated by mischief makers of the state enemies and to smear the Governor.

According Mohammed Bindo is a governor his suspension of whatever type and for whatever reason should be annoounced by the NWC of our great party the way the declared the suspension of Rochas Okrochas of Imo state.

“There should be a formal letter from the national office of our great party informing us of Bindo’s suspension not from unscrupolous source in an effort to divert our focus on the coming saturday’s guber polls.” He said

He is calling on the general public to disregard the purported story as one of the social media ills with a baseless source.

“Bindo is still bonafide member of APC and equally hold the gubernatorial ticket of the party for Saturday, 9th March elections.” He said

According to him the secretary to government of the federation,SGF,Boss Mustapha is in Yola where he assure that APC will win the gubernatorial elections because of how united the are to fight a common enemy.
