Atiku Campaign rally: PDP supporters destroys APC’s bill boards in Adamawa


The grand finale of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) campaign rally in Adamawa state has been characterized with thuggery as supporters and “hooligans” of the opposition party destroyed billboards, and banners belonging to All Progressives Congress (APC).

The wanton destruction of the APC properties is seen in round about Mai Doki which serves as the gate keeper of the city while entering Jimeta and fire services round about at the heart of the City.

PDP which has Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as it presidential candidate and an indigene of the state stormed Yola with thousands of his supporters considered as “hired crowd by APC”.

The organising Secretary of APC,Alhaji Ahmed Lawan told Tribune that PDP are up for something else as since yesterday they have been planning to cause crisis which was foil by police armed Men.

According to Lawal PDP is very unpopular in Adamawa and the entire country that is why they resulted in displaying their frustration of loosing elections before the day of declaring APC winners of all elections in the State.

“This is to tell you PDP is ill popular all over the country,their attitude shows that they will plunder this country into war if voted to power.

“I’m calling on all our supporters both within and without Adamawa to remain calm as APC remain a party to beat.” Lawal said


The mammoth crowd gathered at the Mahmud Ribadu square was revealed by Ahmed Lawal as hired crowd with most of them having no PVCs.

“APC had done their campaign rallies on peaceful atmosphere, without hurting a fly but PDP went and hire hooligans and vagabonds to destroyed our mounted billboards.

” This is to tell you we are party of peace and out for Peace to lead Adamawa and Nigeria to the promise land by God’s willing.” He added
