Bear with Buhari, Rep Namdaz urge Nigerians

House of Representatives Chairman House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Rep Abdulrazak Namdaz, has urged Nigerians to bear with President Muhammadu Buhari, in his effort to transformed the nation.

Namdaz made the call  at a Saturday dinner he organized for journalists in Yola.

Namdaz who is representing Mayo-Belwa/Ganye/Toungo/Jada Constituency said the current hardship being experience was a global problem and not peculiar to Nigeria alone.

“I went to South Africa, the are also facing challenges.

“We need to bear with President Buhari as he try to shape things, we must realize that he is not a magician to change things overnight.

“We should be patience and accord government at all levels the needed support and cooperation face the numerous challenges at hand.

Namdaz said this years budget would bring some changes in the lives of Nigerians, adding that about N46.9 billion has been earmarked for capital projects in the North out of which N5.9 billion projects would be in Adamawa.

He explained that projects to be handle in his constituency in this year’s budget included the completion of Mayo-Belwa power sub station by Transmission Company of Nigeria, Repairs of Mayo-Belwa-Zing road and rehabilitation of Federal Government College Ganye.

The lawmaker also explained that there would constituency projects to be executed worth N197 million.

“I will also continue with my youth empowerment programmes for people in my constituency.

“I want to use this opportunity to urged the people of Adamawa to come out emmase to support our party (APC) candidates in the coming Local Government elections in the state.” Namdaz said.
