Adamawa state lawmakers okays 3.5B for the executive to clears LG backlog salaries

The Adamawa state House of Assembly has today during a plenary approved the sum of 3.5 Billion naira to the executive arm to procure a loan that will settles Local Government outstanding salaries.

The speaker of the House Rt Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa after reading the contents of the letter,a member representing Girei,Mohammed Muttawale move for the adoption of the letter and seconded by member reprsenting Mubi South,Hon Abdulraham Abubakar Isa.

It could be recalled that Sen. Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has yesterday announced the payment of two months salaries to the LG staffs and promised to pay the remaining two months salaries within the shortest possible time.
