2nd Stanza of National Anthem should be a Daily prayer point of every Nigerians- NOA

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has call on all Nigerians to make it a prayer habit to turn the second stanza of our National Anthem into a daily prayer to Unite the country and has the effects of tackling religious crisis among different faithfully across the country

Adamawa state Director of the Agency Alhaji Ahmed Sudi Abba who Said this while fielding questions from newsmen in yola, saying that  agency at state level has already embarked on an advocacy campaign started with Media Executives on the need for the media to support the agency to achieve the set goals as directed by the federal Government.

He explained that, the second stanza will also bring to an end the religious crisis bedivelling the country, especially among the followers of the two major religious of Islam and Christianity which according to him it has been observed whenever one among the two believers is offering prayer at an official events the other one will be busy with mobile phone or ignored it.

Alhaji Ahmed Abba however, disclosed that already about four states have started using the second stanza of the National Anthem as a unity prayer comprised, Niger, benue, Nasarawa aswell as the federal Capital Territory Abuja and therefore called on the Adamawa state Government to apply to maintain the peaceful coexistence in the state.

The NOA state Director while commenting on the removal of petroleum subsidy and the increment of pump price stated that, considering the economy situation of the nation which is very critical the government has no option than doing that, adding that before achieving the set objectives of the change mantra of President Buhari’s administration there is need for attitudinal change among people and therefore urged Nigerians to support the government in that direction.
