counsel to the released rPDP officials,Barristar Abubakar Aliyu Jatau said the matter was resolved amicably between the two warring parties,

Barristar Jatau observed that communication gap created the misunderstanding between the CP Madaki and his clients noting that the matter was purely intra- political party squabble within the PDP which need political solution among the players (actors).

“I requested for the release of my clients detained by the police and were released to me unconditionally because the case is political in nature .

“All parties involved were advised to resolve their differences amicably and to obey the laws of the land and to avoid any breach of peace in the state.

It could recalled that the police in the state on the directives of CP Madaki arrested the factional chairman of Yelli ward of rPDP,Mr.philips Buji,Barristar Hussaini Guyuk and Abdulsalam Adamu for alleged offences of terrorism, forgery and causing public nuisance.

After releasing the trio on bail, they were re-arrested and dragged before Chief Magistrate court (4) Yola on Wednesday 15th April.2020 where CP Madaki through the prosecutor filed an exparte application seeking for court order to re reprimand the trio in prison custody.

Magistrate Dimas Gwama granted the request for the reprimanding of the defendants despite the circular from the office of the Chief Justice of Nigeria,Justice Tanko Muhammad directing all courts in the country to halt proceedings due to CONVID 19 pandamic.

Commenting on the development,Factional Leader of the rPDP, Umar Ardo opined that act of holding court session despite the directive of the CJN that no court should adjudicate in the country due to the corona virus lockdown, but here in Adamawa state because of a singular reason to victimise political opposition,a court sat illegally.

“With the clear directive that no court should sit and for them to have out brought the magistrate, and the magistrate to under took court proceeding in the entire country for a singular purpose of victimising political opponents has said a lot on the integrity of that very magistrate who is being used by the Adamawa state government as a pawn in its political chess game which remain much unfortunate.

“We are going to write a petition to the National Judicial Council,NJC on the magistrate, who had exercised his injustice on us unless he write and tender an unreserved apology to us,we may forgive him in the spirit of human error.

“But I don’t blame the government and its cohorts;I blame the law professor in the government house who sits by and allow the regime to be misled by lunatics who re desperate to hold onto power no matter how ignominious. If as a law professor,he can not advice the government on to the right lawful and Honourable path, then I don’t think being there is worth the tittle “.Ardo maintained
