The Pandemonium caused by coronavirus around the world has thrown hundreds of Adamawa Students studying various courses at University of Maiduguri stranded.
The students who are among the second batch whose transportation fare and logistics were shouldered by the Senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone, Mr Ishaku Abbo reached Yola safely.
The returned students rendered encomiums of thanks and appreciated Abbo by describing him their heroe leader who saved them out of Maiduguri where they were trapped down because of plans to close all Intercity roads as a result of covid-19 virus.
The Vice President of Adamawa State Students Union (ADSSU),Hyalewa Peter Kwaghe University of Maiduguri Chapter in an official letter appreciated Senator Abbo to have come to their rescue at a time coronavirus Pandemonium has stocked them down in Maiduguri wanting to come back home and no vehicle to convey them.
According to him ADSSU deeply appreciate his love for humanity and his help to them at a time they are in a desperate need of help.
One of the students,Mr Mark Buggi Peter on arrival at around 5:45 in Yola said exactly what has been trending on his social media handles, appreciating the Senator for saving them.
He revealed that Yesterday he was at the Motor park desperate to travel back to Yola but there was no commuter shuttling from Maiduguri to Adamawa as a result of coronavirus bringing all routes to a total closed down.
“We the second batch of More than 20 Unimaid Students you sponsored our trip,we can’t thank you enough for sending us a succour in this desperate time of our needs.” Buggi said
The Adamawa Young Senator extended the same gesture of love to the Taraba state indigenes Schooling in Maiduguri who have also reached Yola saved and sound.
The Senator presented a token of transport fare to them for their onward journey to Jalingo.
