The House Committee on Foreign Affairs,chaired by Member representing Gombi/ Hong Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives,Rt. Hon.Yusuf Buba Yakub, today at the National Assembly received in audience the Charge’d Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Nigeria,Ghazafi Abdalla Mohammed.
The visit of the Diplomat, who is Republic of Sudan’s Head of Mission in Nigeria, was undertaken with a view to strengthening bilateral co-operation between his country, Sudan ,and the host country, Nigeria.
In press statement signed by his Special Assistant on media and public affairs,Nkem Anyata- Lafia,quoted the committee chairman on foreign affairs saying the bilateral ties between Nigeria and Sudan will be cordial for more economic benefits of the two nations
During the visit,the Diplomat interacted with members and officials of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs present,while setting an agenda and time for another meeting that would make for broader collaborations and closer co-operation between the two countries.
Among those present at the visit were Hon.( Dr.) Mohammed B. Salame,a member of the Committee and Chairman, House Committee on Poverty Alleviation ;Clerk of the Committee, Alh. Muhammad T. Ali and other officials of the Committee.
