Gov Fintiri Congratulate Archbishop-elect of Jos Province Anglican communion


His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has congratulated the entire Christian community and the Anglican Church in Adamawa State over the elevation of Rt Reverend Marcus Ibrahim Amfani, Bishop of Yola Anglican Communion who was recently elected to the office of Arch Bishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Jos.

Governor Fintiri sincerely regards the elevation of the Clergyman to the exalted office as a well deserved upliftment based on His track record as a peace ambassador with a reputation for uprightness and dedication to the work of God.

His Excellency the Governor notes that Adamawa is blessed to have the seat of the Arch Bishop in Yola, following the election which took place in Delta State.

He expressed confidence that Bishop Amfani will use his newly acquired position in the church to further entrench the spirit of oneness within the christendom and the society at large by further propagating peaceful coexistence.

Press Secretary,Mr Humwashi Wonosikou urged the clergyman to live a life worthy of emulation by practicing what he preaches, so that Adamawa and Nigeria can benefit from his wealth of experience and truthfulness in doing God’s work.

Governor Fintiri gave kudos to the Archbishop-Elect for this phenomenal attainment, assuring Him of the support of family members , friends and the society, so that the Christian community and the society in general can be impacted upon by this Great Man of God.

The Governor while wishing Bishop Amfani the very best in his new position also called on him to commit Adamawa State in prayers always.
