“Next Level”: There should be a turn around in Nigeria-Anglican Archbishop elect of Jos Province Prays

The newly elected Archbishop of the Anglican Communion Church who is to oversee Jos Ecclesiastical Province in the North East region,Most Rev Marcus Ibrahim Anfani prophesied through the slogan of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party of “Next Level” and prayed for greater turn around in all facets of life in the country.

While appreciating the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari for taming the daily happenings of Boko Haram insurgents,rampant kidnapping,corruption and incessant Herders/farmers clashes but much need to be done in reviving the ailing and dwelling economy of the country.

He however stressed that Nigerians are virtually struggling to get essentials and basic things of life,he prayed earnestly along the slogan that the country will experience a turn around in the year 2020.

Anfani in an interview with journalists in his Yola residential office said God in his word in the book of Hebrew chapter 4 is saying Nigerians will enter into another realm of Glory.

“Almost everything in this country we are virtually struggling,Financially we are struggling to pay fees and settle utilities,even struggling to eat. The country as a whole is equally struggling to survive in all aspect of the economy. As a voice to the nation;I decree and declare,as we enter the year 2020 we are going to enter into another realm of Glory.

“The leadership of this country will be transformed,the economy will be transformed so that life will be better in this country Nigeria.

“I’m seeing God having a purpose for this great nation,we as spiritual leaders we will raise an alarm to heaven for intervention in the situation of Nigeria.” Anfani prayed

He called on Church leaders to preach and pray Peace,give sermons on the need of religion tolerance,advocating dialogue,good working relationship between the Pastors and the Imams of this country.

Anfani who is still the under shepherd Bishop of Anglican Cathedral in Yola said God through His Grace he has been elected to oversee all Anglican Churches in the North east including Jos as the Archbishop.

This according to him is a big task to rebuild trust,rebuild relationship,rebuild Churches and even mosques destroyed by Boko Haram insurgents, Farmers/Herders clashes and clashes between Tiv/Jukun.

He said the church will raise an alarm for Government,the Muslim Ummah and well meaning individuals to partner with the church to reconcile people,and to also partner in the area of infrastructural reconstruction of Churches and Mosques destroyed by insurgency.

Ibrahim narrated how God used council of Bishops to elect him in Delta through intense prayers and rigorous spiritual exercise to be the new Archbishop,an office according to him is highly demanding huge task and Grace to carry out functions in line with the doctrines of the Church.

He enjoined Christians to pray for leaders at all levels in this nation to do according to His will.
