Best Speaker of the Year: Abel Diah of Taraba receives Award of Excellence by AOPA

In recognition of his good representation to the People of Mbanmga constituency of Sardauna LGA and steering the Taraba State House Assembly,Rt Hon Abel Peter Diah received an Award as the best speaker of the year by Area Online publishers Association (AOPA).

Diah was represented by the Tgnews publisher,an online media that covers his events on Wednesday in Kaduna where his citation was red to as the best speaker who is taken the helm affairs of Taraba Assembly for the second term to greater heights.

Speaker Abel was commended to be a stabilizer of democracy and a lover of peace who frowns at any form of political instability in the state.

While reading the his citation,AOPA Chairman,comrade Zakari said the consistence political journey of Diah who grow through the ladder of political elective office from a councilor,Chairman and three times Lawmaker and speaker in the House of Assembly is a rare feats to get close by.

The occasion which held at the Arewa Banquet Hall with galaxies of personalities like the Executive Governor of Kaduna state,Mallam Nasir Elrufai,the executive Governor of Bauchi state,Mal.Bala Mohammed,the speaker of Bauchi state Assembly,Rt Hon Abubakar Y Suleiman,His Royal Highest Alhaji (Dr) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman Emir of Katsina and the royal father of the day as receivers of various types of Award.

Others are the guest speaker,Prof Umaru Pate,Dean Faculty of postgraduate studies of Bayero university, ABU Vice Chancellor,Prof Ibrahim Garba,Commodore Aisha Abubakar Malafa and Alhaji Umar Radar Director General SMEDAN

Peter who among many Awardees had a public lecture on a theme: “The role of new media in Nation Building” by the invited guest speaker.
