Mr Dikko Radda, Director-General of SMEDAN, made the disclosure during an entrepreneurship training for school teachers in Yola on Thursday.

Radda said that the federal government was making efforts to actualise its strategy through entrepreneur skills acquisition.

“ The FG seeks to actualise a strategy of liberation of Nigerians caught bell poverty line.

“One of the major thrusts is how we would take about 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next 10 years through the SMEDAN School Entrepreneurship Programme,’’ Radda said.

He said that the commitment was to prepare the students for the fourth industrial revolution.

According to him, the era of brilliant curriculum vitae is over, adding that “This is the era of crafting a bankable business plan that will launch the students into being their own bosses”.

He said students should be equipped to build and start a successful business in spite of what the economy was doing.

Radda expressed appreciation for the commitment of some state governments in creating space for the development of teachers and advancement of entrepreneurship education.
