Valedictory: Please forgive us-Adamawa 6th Assembly members begs constituents

In a valedictory session presided by the speaker,Rt Hon Kabiru Mijinyawa to mark the end of the six Adamawa state House of Assembly.

The state lawmakers in unanimous spirit thank their respective constituencies for given them the opportunity to represent them in serving the state.

In their respective commends, they solemnly begged for forgiveness from one and asked their respectively constituents to forgive them anywhere necessary while discharging their duties as elected members.

The nine members present at the Friday plenary where they spoke one after another Extolled speaker Kabiru as a good leader who hold the feather of the Assembly well in flying them to the highest altitude of lawmaking in the history of the Assembly.

The member representing Hong constituency, Hon Hassan Mamman Barguma said Mijinyawa possessed evidence of good leadership threads that if he sustain can take him to a very high political office.

While describing Journalists as part of the moving train of development that one cannot do without, he said when he was the chairman of information they help him became a very good information officer of the Assembly.

Barguma Advised the 7th Assembly to seriously look at the issues of Social welfare,influx of Almajiris and security as their menace is generally causing a lot of havoc in the world today.

He emphasised that the coming Seven Assembly should also focus on the primary aspect of lawmaking and over sight functions.

The nine lawmakers in attendance out of twenty five are; the Deputy speaker who is representing Demsa constituency,Hon Lumsambani Mijah Dilli,the member representing Mubi North, Mohammed Sani,Member representing Michika,Hon Joseph Ayuba Kwada,Member representing Jadda/Mbulo,Hon Hammanjoda Umar Farrang.

Others are Hon Hassan Mamman Barguma who is representing Hong constituency, Hon Isah Abubakar of Shelleng constituency,Hon Hassan Hammanjoda representing the good people of Ganye Constituency and Hon Isa Yahaya Ahmadu who is representing Maiha constituency unanimously in a solemn mode begged for forgiveness to the entire people of Adamawa state.

The Member representing Shelleng,Isah further said the Six Adamawa State House of Assembly is the only House that made the highest number of laws and bills since the history of the House in 1999.

Drawing them to Section 103 sub section 3 of 1999 constitution as amended that their duties as lawmakers was worth a while from 2015 to date.
