The election of Adamawa state Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) brought the emergence of Pst George Oaya of the PFN Block as the newly elected Chairman.
The position which was keenly contested along divergence interest from different blocks that made up the voting pattern with George defeating the incumbent Chairman.
Oaya polled 40 votes to beat the incumbent,Ajine Dello who turned second with 27 votes and Godwin Joseph got a total votes of 13 to be third next.
George,the newly elected Chairman who was the secretary of the association said his emergence is a decision of God Who wills power to those He purpose to.
According to him unity of the Christian Youths in the state through purposeful leadership is one of his cardinal agenda of his three years tenure.
While appreciating the conduct of the elections and the leadership of CAN under Bishop Dami Steven Mamza his the untiring work to see the success of the election, he enjoins both winners and losers to both consider themselves winners as there is no losers in the vineyard of God.
He confide on Tgnews of giving a rebrand and well define leadership that will overhaul the YOWICAN in the state by bringing new innovations that will support the Christian Youths in all phases of life.
