Speaker Kabiru of Adamawa set to rehabilitate classrooms in his constituency

The Speaker Adamawa House of Assembly Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa has reiterated his commitment towards contributing his quarter in the state of emergency declared on Education by Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibirilla.

Mijinyawa who is also the member representing Yola South Constituency stated this Friday while flagging off the commencement of the rehabilitation of dilapidated three classroom block and an office in Government Day Secondary School Damare Yola South Local Government area.

Represented by the Principal Special Assistant to Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibirilla, Alhaji Husseini Ahmadu Har, Speaker Mijinyawa said the gesture is part of the promised he made to the people of the area when he granted them audience sometimes in twenty eighteen at his office in the state Assembly complex in Yola.

He also promised that when the work is completed he will provide additional furnitures and other necessary facilities in the classes and offices in the school explaining that Education is the most needed in human endeavour and the sector is dare need of intervention to complement the Government effort in reviving it lost glory.

While speaking on his effort to in revamping the Education and provision of quality Health Care Delivery Mijinyawa said as matter of urgency so far he built and equipped four Clinics, renovated a dilapidated classroom in various schools and rebuilding an Examination Hall in Government Day Secondary School Njoboli and provide Educational facilities to enhance the performance of the students across his Constituency.

In their separate remarks the Makama ‘A’ Ward Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC and the Education Secretary Yola South Local Government who was represented at the occasion described the intervention of the Speaker in the Education Sector as timely and commendable considering it’s importance to the people.

Speaking on behalf of the benefiting community the Chairman of Damare Community Alhaji Sahabo Mai Anguwa and representative of Damare Elders Forum Alhaji Sanusi Mai Anguwa among other Stakeholders who spoke during the program expressed their appreciation to the member representing Yola South Constituency Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa for coming to their aid.

It could be recalled that the Speaker Adanawa State House of Assembly Mijinyawa had in twenty eighteen donated sets of funitures and other learning materials to Government Day Secondary School Damare
