2019: Maiha inneed of effective representation-Aspirant

Maiha Local Government Area,of Northern senatorial district of Adamawa state has been adjudged as a council in dare need of effective representation.

Hon Ahmadu Hassan Maiha,a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area, aspiring for the position of member representing Maiha constituency in the state House of Assembly (ADHA) said, the area has been neglected to the background as a result of poor representation in the last few years.

According to him ,the current member representing the area at the House of Assembly is trying his best but it is not commiserating to what they expected him to do.

Hon Hassan ,further complained that the present representative has presents zero laws and Bills,with nothing much to benefit the people of the area.
Challenging the lawmaker for not carrying stakeholders along in discharging his constituency project.

The Honourable Doctor of philosophy in public administration (Honor is Cauda), revealed that his grassroots politics and in constant touch with relevant stakeholders,the people of Maiha shopped him to context the the position of a lawmaker.

He recount his political feat that dates back to 1998 where he actively involved in the formation of People’s Democracy Party in Maiha and won the councillor seat of his in 1999.

Hassan Said he had the privilege of winning the councillorship of his ward for two terms,appointed a supervisory councillor and later became a Senior special adviser of Former Governor Murtala Nyako.

He Further revealed that his aspirations to vie for House of Assembly Member is borne out of desire for his constituents to have an affective representation in all ramifications.

He extols President Muhammadu Buhari for signing into law a bill for “not too young to run” as it will give young Nigerians viable opportunity to occupy strategic position in the country.

Ahmadu call on the Adamawa state people to support Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow led government in 2019 because it’s people oriented.
