Secretary to the Government of the federation (SGF),Barr Boss Mustapha called on Nigerians to go back to farm as the rainy season has fully commenced.
Boss made the call during a Sunday service (today) at the Government House Chapel in Yola,revealed that the federal governmen have good agricultural policies on ground to revive the sector.
”I’m calling on everyone of us to go back to farm and we should not allow the economy situations to drag us down as we are living in trying times.” He said
Riding his charge from an initial sunday message delivered by the Deputy chaplain of the Chapel,Ven Habila Yunusa Tula and titled:” benefits of the fear of the Lord” enjoins Christian to be God fearing in order to attracts God’s manifold blessings.
Habila took his sermon from the book of Genesis 22:1-18 reminded the worshiper that a life of faith and obedience to God is the only thing that can guarantee a life full of blessings here on earth and here after.
Boss continue to say that We live in trying times but calls for a determine spirit to live the life God has called us to live as the Gospel prosperous in the days of adversities.
”let us be of good cheers because Christ has over came the world,for in blessings God will bless us,let’s do something in this rainy season regardless how Small it is, we have to dominant the earth with our farming activities.” Boss Charged
The congragants made Special prayers were for the leadership of the nation and Peace to rain in every part of the country.
