Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla Bindow, has described the killings in Dumne, Song Local Government area of the state by suspected herdsmen, as sad, senseless, cowardly and condemnable.
The governor who reacted through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Macauley Hunohashi, says security agents have been deployed to mitigate the possibility of escalation and arrest perpetrators.
Sen Jibrilla is emphatic that any one found guilty will face the full wrath of the Nigerian law.
“It is because the full force of the law has not been applied in the past that is why people think they can get away with wanton killings and other forms of criminality”, the Governor says.
