Inspector General of Police Idris Kpotun Ibrahim, who stated this during a courtesy visit held at the Council Chamber of the government house in Yola, explained that technical unit of the police will equally be deployed to assist in subsequent investigation and tracking of those involved in the killing.
The Inspector General said Police concern about the incident and commiserated with the people of the state over the bomb blast in Mubi.
Responding Governor Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla, said the state is sad over the incident and requested the police IG to prosecute those perpetrators of the killings.
He said the act is unacceptable and barbaric adding that an administrative panel is underway to investigate and recommend for prosecution.
Secretary to the state government, Doctor Umar Buba Bindir in a remark, explained that various factors could be responsible while majority of people in the state are into farming and livestock production.
While thanking the police boss for the assistance to ensure peace and security in the state, Doctor Bindir said the state also lack industry to employ youths.
The Inspector General later proceeded to Numan to visit the scene of the killings.
