Bindow Urges Triacta company to hasten up Job completion in Mubi

The Governor of Adamawa state Sen. Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow while on roads inspection given to Triacta Construction company on Friday in Mubi,urges the company to make sure that the rehabilitation and construction of all the roads given to them is done within terms of agreement and in due time.

He queried and demanded explanation on the various stages of the work and urged the contractor to ensure quality and timely completion of the project.

He however expressed displeasure over the slow pace of road construction work at kolere and Sabin pegi areas of Mubi,calling on the construction company to hasten work in the area.

At Wuro Patuji, drainages are yet to be provided as demolition of some building is yet to commenced due to none payment of compensation to owners of the affected building.

The Commissioner of Works, BarrLillian Stephen told the Governor that the work at Kolere is work in progress as evacuation of sand as well as provision of culverts box at sabon layi is ongoing to ensure quality and address problems such as flooding.

While answering questions from journalists,the Commissioner debunked claims that the governor is concentrating on Mubi and the state capital, saying kiri-shelleng road will soon commence while construction work in Numan, Ganye and other parts of the state will be given consideration.

She called on residents not to dump refuse in the drainages  so as not to create artificial flood which government is working hard to prevent.

Site engineer of Triacta construction company in Mubi, told the governor that necessary measures have been taken and assured the governor of timely completion of the project.

Some residents, including Commissioner of Finance, politicians and youth, who spoke to journalists during the inspection, commended Governor Jibrilla for massive road construction work and promised to give him all the necessary support to enable him continue with the good work.

They also pledeged to mobilise other residents on the need to safeguard infrastructure provided for the benefit of the people.
